Past Event: AUTUMN SEASON in association with Auckland Writers Festival
WORD Christchurch has teamed up with the Auckland Writers Festival to bring six top quality international writers to our city in May.
The Autumn Season, which runs from 14 to 17 May, features: bestselling Scottish crime novelist Ian Rankin, creator of the Rebus series; Booker prize-winning Irish novelist Anne Enright; highly-respected British historian and biographer A. N. Wilson, author of The Victorians; science writer James Gleick exploring the mysteries of time travel; and novelist Stella Duffy, who is currently completing Ngaio Marsh’s unfinished novel Money in the Morgue. WORD Christchurch is also thrilled to welcome back the hit of the 2016 festival, Canadian storyteller Ivan Coyote.
